A GENTLE REMINDER OF WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT BEFORE YOUR MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT
DO NOT consume alcohol 24 hours prior to the treatment
Please avoiding wearing any make up or creams on the day of your procedure
Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day of treatment.
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 24 hours before treatment.
DO NOT do not anything to your eyebrows like shaping or waxing before the procedure. Your artist will take care of it during your appointment.
You should not use Botox, AHA products and retinoids 2 weeks before your procedure.
Exfoliating treatments such as microdermabrasion should not be performed within 2 weeks prior to procedure
Chemical and laser peels should be avoided no less than 3 weeks prior to procedure
Patients prone to cold sores/fever blisters should take an anti-viral prior to treatment
Do not tan or have intense sun exposure 3 days before treatment.
Hormone therapies can affect pigmentation and/or cause sensitivity
It is recommended to take a shower as you have to be more careful not to wet your brows for a few days.
Are there any certain pre-existing conditions that must be considered before having Microblading?
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Diabetic
Serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders (doctor’s note is required)
Circulatory disorders (doctor’s note is required)
Any bleeding disorders (doctor’s note is required)
You’re taking blood thinning medication
Currently on strong retinoids (must wait until 6 months after treatment ends)
If any skin diseases symptoms or irritation appears on the area.
You’ve recently had Botox or Disport treatment (must wait 2 months)
Previous PMU. If you eyebrows have been tattooed/microbladed, they must have significantly faded for us to be able to perform the Phi Brows treatment successfully. )
